this is the original Zenith a384 from 1971 in spectacular collectors condition. the hystorical important, very first automatic wrist-chronograph reference in the world, powered by the iconic first version of the El Primero, the 3019 PHC. This example of the A384 is by far the best we have ever come across. It´s 37mm steelcase (serial 904Dxxx) is 100% unpolished, every single part about it, like crown, pushers and Gay Freres ladder bracelet (2/71) are the original ones that were always with the watch. The dial and handset are absolutely unmolested and by far the most beautiful we have ever seen in such a reference, featuring and outstandingly beautiful vanilla toned original tritium that is matching in color on all parts. The subdials and inner bezel turn into a beautiful tropical hazelnut-tone when direct sunlight shines on the them. The El Primero 3019 PHC was checked through and is running super-exactly (+1 sec/d), not being in the need for a service soon. The watch comes even with a Zenith Garanty booklet with stamped on matching number and a vintage box. as both are more from the early mid 1970s, we figure that they may have been added to the watch when it was sold over the store. This Zenith A384 could be the best vintage example of this important reference that you will ever find.
