This is a rare handwound Zenith super subsea „straight hand“ Mk1 from the 1960s and one of the very best examples we ever had condition-wise. The chronograph features a flawless dial with clean white subdials, beautifully toned tritium markers and and a colormatching tritium-handset. The unpolished 39 mm steelcase with Zenith Nato star on the backside also clearly shows the engraved serial number (184Dxxx). Handset, domed plexi, pushers, the flawless bezel with tritium perl and the crown signed with the Zenith star (only for very early 146H models) are all the original parts. It´s early manufacture caliber 146 H is working very well in all functions, not being in the need for a service soon. This stunning collector´s A277 comes on an unworn black vintage leatherband.
