here is the legend. the original zenith a386 el primero from the late 1960´s. the first automatic chronograph in the history of horology. apart from that a design icon not comparable to any other. this is, without any doubt, one of the most important watches to serious collectors, and we are happy to be able to offer an example to our customers, that is just exactly in the configuration like it has left the factory 50 years ago. this late mk3 version of the a386 (23xxxxx) comes with a stunning unmolested dial with strong colors of the three subdials and six all original hands. Also all of those parts carry the same tritium-lume like they always did, showing the diverse fading of colors just like we have often seen it about original unrestored a386 examples. the sharp mk3 steelcase with natostar on the caseback has never been polished before and comes with original pushers and big crown with „small ring“. the 3019 phc has recently been serviced and runs perfectly in all functions. such a beautiful a386 is a very rare watch today, but it´s even rarer if it comes on an original zenith/gay freres „ladder bracelet“ with the ultrarare and highly sought after ZJ endlinks. this piece is a weighty addition to any watch collection, no matter if the collector follows the idea of investment or of historical importance.
