this is a beautiful and rare Vacheron Constantin dresswatch from the early 1960s in 18k whitegold. The reference 6290 with a 25,5 mm square case appears to be unpolished and with a flawless champaign-color dial. We offer it on a steel milanese bracelet (worldwide) or a black croco-leatherstrap (only EU market). The superflat handwinding VC caliber 1003 is in perfectly working order and not in the need for a service currently. The movement is engraved with the seal of geneva, the official quality hallmark awarded only to watch movements that meet strict standards of craftsmanship, origin, and reliability. The caseback features a charming engraving, writing „22. XII. 62“. Compared to other square dress watches from this period, this VC is slightly larger and looks wonderful and balanced on the wrist. Its ultra-flat design makes it an exclusive example of the highest quality and most elegant watchmaking craftsmanship.
