this is an outstandingly beautiful early Universal Geneve Polerouter from the mid 1950s. The 35,5mm steelcase (large version) appears to be full unpolished which is a rare find in todays market. All parts about the watch are the original ones, like U-shield signed crown and plexi with engraved shield. The lume on the black glossy dial and in the handset is still the original one and has developed a stunning warm colortone over the years. it´s beautiful UG bumper-caliber 138SS is working propperly and has just been serviced. A true collectors Polerouter which even comes with two vintage leatherbands and the original 16mm UG buckle.
