Universal Geneve Polerouter 36mm

This is a rare early Polerouter with a 36mm steel case from the late 1950s. The UG 138 SS Bumper automatic movement, reference 20217-5, has been freshly serviced and runs perfectly. All parts of the watch, from the supersharp unpolished case to the movement, the dial with radium markers, the set of hands, and the plexiglass signed with a “U”, are the original Universal-Geneve parts. Only the crown was replaced during a previous service with a matching, unsigned domed crown. The Polerouter comes on a vintage Sport Tropic strap with steel buckle.
