this is a rare second execution of the legendary universal geneve compax reference 885103/02 with applied logo dial and the early version of the rectangular subdial-hands. It is in full original and unmolested condition. In 2021 it is widely spread collectors-knowledge, that this 37mm men´s racing-chronograph from the late 1960s was also worn by a famous woman. the model nina, who was the wife of formula 1 worldchampion jochen rindt. Many supercool photos from racingtracks in the 1960s tell us about this story. the case of our example is luckily still unpolished and carries original pushers, the u-signed crown and the original metal tachymeter bezel. also the old plexi with engraved u is still on this watch, covering a beautiful clean and unmolested panda dial with original lume, that can also be found in all of the hands (UV-light tested). the 85 signed and ug refined valjoux 72 movement is in great condition and running exactly in all functions, as it has just received a full service from our watchmaker. this „nina rindt“ comes on a grey texture-leatherstrap with period correct UG buckle and a black leatherstrap in addition.
