this is the first version of the legendary Universal Geneve compax reference 885103/02 with applied logo dial in full original and unmolested condition. it´s widely spread knowledge in the collectorsworld that this 37mm unisex racingchronograph from the late 1960s was also worn by nina, the wife of famous formula 1 driver jochen rindt. our example has a clean cremedial and handset, both with original tritium lume and in beautiful condition. the sharp case seems to be unpolished and carries original pushers, the u-signed bigcrown and the metal tachymeter bezel. even the original plexi with little engrave U in the middle is still on this watch (minicrack at six). the 85 signed UG refined valjoux 72 movement is in top condition, running exactly in all functions. the rare compax „nina rindt“ mk2 comes on a black vintage leatherstrap from the sixties.
