this is an extremely rare universal geneve compax „nina Rindt“ (ref. 885103/02) full set. the second execution with applied logo dial and early version of the rectangular subdial-hands and blued sweeping hand, is in original and unmolested condition, coming with it´s original certificate-booklet, it´s box and the leatherband with UG buckle. the photo-model nina, who was the famous wife of formula 1 worldchampion jochen rindt is the namesake for this UG compax racing chronograph. She was often spotted with it back in the days, as many supercool photos from racingtracks in the 1960s still proof us today. the case of this example is in very fat condition (serial 2,561xxx) and carries original pushers, the u-signed crown and the original metal tachymeter bezel. the warmtoned cremewhite dial and hands still appear with all the original lume that is partly fully dead and partly a little bit active under uv light. the 85 signed and ug refined valjoux 72 movement is in great condition and running exactly in all functions, not being in the need for a service soon. the UG compax comes on a black leatherstrap in addition, so the original one can be put to the side. this is is an absolute collectors set how it only appears very rarely to the public market.
