The early Swatch vintage collection 1983-85
not in stock

This is a spectacular vintage Swatch showcase with 6 iconic gent models from 1883 to 1985. the very first year Swatch started it´s triumphal procession into watch history was 1983. This set contains even three watches from that very first swatch year, the „Tennis Grid“, the iconic GB103 (big 3, 9, 12) and the GB703 (daydate with red sweepinghand) with an overwhelmingly beautiful patina. They are followed by the extremely cool „Compu-Tech“ from 1984 with a futuristic grey dial in a red case, and the „Windrose“ as well from 1984, rounded up by the „Dotted“ from 1985. Those pieces have been collected together for years and have been well protected in the vintage swatch showcase, together with their original cases and papers. The batteries were taken out to protect the movements, still all watches are running well if you would put them in again. Please consider that most of those watches are unavailable today and even less in this condition. At the craziest time of the swatch hype, only the GB103 model could achieve prices up to 5000$.  All six watches have partly developed a beautiful patina and come as a full set. This might be one of the coolest 1980s Pop Art Objects you could hang onto your wall.
