this is an absolute stunning and very rare Rolex Oyster „Bubbleback“ Chronometer from 1955 in overall original and very well preserved condition. The reference 2764 with a superfat  32mm steelcase features a beautiful Oyster patent crown and is sidekicked by it´s original, expandable 6635 Gay Freres rivet Oyster-bracelet. The caseback inside shows a sweet list of states in which the oyster patent was granted. The overwhelmingly beautiful and untouched black chronometer giltdial with highly active radium lume is in flawless condition, just as the radium filled handset is. It´s Rolex automatic caliber with original Rotor is working very well, not being in the need for a service currently. The watch fit wrists up to 17,8 cm circumference and one additional GF link is coming with. This is an early and historical important Rolex Oyster in allover unmolested condition, offering many very charming details. Probably it´s the nicest bubbleback we have ever come across and definitely a grail watch for any BB collector.
