this is a very rare Rolex bubbleback from 1955 (serial 73xxx). The reference 6085 comes with a 34mm steelcase which is 2mm bigger than earlier bubblebacks. This example convinces with a wonderful tropical patina on the nolume glossy dial and the writing „officially“ from „officially certified chronometer“ in red letters. all parts that are installed on the watch head are still the original ones, like the winding rotor, the bubbleback crown with „+“, the no lume handset or the blued sweeping secondhand, and of course the domed plexiglass. the movement has been tested and keeps time very well. this extraordinary rolex comes on a perfectly colormatching leatherband and/or a vintage rivet bracelet from 1963 and currently fits wrists up to a circumference of 18cm or smaller.
