this is a rare whitegold rolex daydate from 1972 with a beautiful and so called „confetti dial“. those colorful speckled effects can only be found on special matte black dials from the early seventies. the dial and matching handset are full original to the fat 18k whitegold case with clearly readable numbers (serial 300xxxx) and hallmarks. the sought after 18k whitegold president bracelet is stamped 3/67 and five years older than the watchhead. the caseback might have once had an engraving which was polished out. the rolex automatic caliber 1556 with italian day-wheel runs excellent in all functions and is currently not in the need for a service. this gorgeous daydate comes in a black lizzard leather box.
