This is a very rare IWC „Pre-Golf-Club“, reference 1830 from around 1975, in outstandingly great condition.
Those beautifully balanced, early 1830 dials, without the wording Golf-Club, have only been produced for a very short period. Also the serialnumber is engraved on the outside of the caseback instead of the inside as it is usual for the later 1830 executions. This example might be the best one we have ever seen. It´s in allover mint and original condition.

The watch features a beautiful fat 35 x 41mm steelcase and a flawless black dial with overwhelmingly warmtoned original tritium in indicies and hands. The iwc automatic caliber 8541B has been checked through and runs perfectly. it comes on a black vintage sport tropical band. This gerald Genta designed Sportswatch is both, the perfect daily companion and a very rare collectors item in one piece.
