This is a very rare, g. genta designed IWC Golf-Club SL, reference 1830, with integrated bracelet from the mid 1970s. The grandmaster of watchdesign did not only sketch the pp nautilus, the ap royal oak, or the iwc ingenieur. He was also responsible for the three references of the IWC „club series“ in the 1970s, amongst them this 1830 Golf-Club which clearly shows many typical signs of his iconic style and is a rare appearance in todays vintage watchmarket.
The IWC features an unpolished 35 x 41mm steelcase and a black dial which is in beautiful original condition, showing a little matte patina mark between four and five a clock and has lost some of the tritium filling from within the indicies over the years. It also comes with the typical Genta black datewheel. all parts about the watchhead are the originals and it´s iwc automatic caliber 8541B has been checked through by our watchmaker, runs exactly and is not in the need for a service soon. the original steelbracelet is in great condition with zero stretch and currently fits wrists up to 18cm circumference.
