This is an absolute stunning Heuer Carrera, reference 1153, from 1970, featuring the rare „paintless wonder effect“ in it´s subdials. Those subdials have originally been blue and have partly faded to a tropical brown tone over the decades and now appear with a magical mixture of both tones. That gives the watch an overwhelmingly cool and individual face which you will only see once on this planet. All the tritium on the dial and in the handset is the original one. The Carrera is coming on it´s original Heuer/Gay Freres „beads of rice“ bracelet in full length, which is signed with the year 1970. The unpolished and sharp case shows both numbers between the lugs  (serial 18xxx), but some parts have been worn away regarding the constant contact with the endlinks. The handwinding Heuer caliber 11 has freshly been fully serviced by our watchmaker. A stunning vintage chronograph with lots of history and exclusivity that let´s a collectors heart beat higher.
