this is a rare and iconic Heuer racing chronograph, the so called „Andretti“, reference 3646, after the famous italian Formula 1 driver Mario Andretti, who was often spotted wearing this watch. It comes with the original Heuer Gay Freres „double beads of rice“-bracelet and the correct HL endlinks, which are even rarer than the watch itself and appear to be highly sought after parts in the Heuer collectors world. We are very happy to be able to offer this piece in the configuration it was once delivered out by Heuer in 1965. The bracelet (claspdate 4/65) is still in great tight condition and in full length. It will fit wrists up to 19,5 cm circumference. The 38mm watchhead features and unpolished steelcase showing the original chamfers perfectly (serial 88xxx). All parts are the original ones, except the crown which is a service part. The dial comes with clean bright subdials and no blemishes in the black part. handset and dial are featuring the original lume, which is already missing on some parts. The beautiful Valjoux 92 has recently been serviced and is not only in great visual condition but also running exactly and perfectly in all functions.
