this is a beautiful and rare Chopard Tank from the 1970/80s in 18k yellowgold. The unpolished 23 x 31mm case, featuring a ribbed design, shows numbers and hallmarks on the caseback and also several signs of wearing. The inside of the caseback, the crown and the buckle are all L.U.C. signed. At Chopard, the initials L.U.C stand for the company founder Louis-Ulysse Chopard. The glossy black dial could have been partly professionally restored at some point in the past. The used croco-leatherband is also still the original one by Chopard and will fit wrists up to 18cm circumference. There is already a small tear at the bottom. Please be aware that for shippings to outside of the European Union this band needs to be exchanged to one in cowleather regarding customs reasons (Please see the wristshot and last image, which show that strap). It´s handwinding Chopard caliber is running very well and accurately, not being in the need for a service soon.
