this is a very beautiful and rare Chopard Tank from the 1970s in 18k yellowgold. The unpolished 23 x 31mm case, featuring a ribbed design, shows both numbers and a hallmark engraved and stamped on the caseback and also several signs of wearing. The original crown is signed L.U.C. as well as the buckle. At Chopard, the initials L.U.C stand for the company founder Louis-Ulysse Chopard and denote the brand’s most exclusive watch line, representing the pinnacle of Swiss watchmaking, the ‘Haute Horlogerie’. The used croco-leatherband is also still the original one by Chopard and will fit wrists up to 18cm circumference. There is already a small tear at the bottom. Please be aware that for shippings to outside of the European Union this band needs to be exchanged to a generic one in cowleather regarding customs reasons. The glossy black dial with golden indicies and hands is in untouched and damagefree condition. It´s handwinding caliber is running very well and accurately, not being in the need for a service soon.
