this is a rare Cartier Tank with wood dial and wooden case flanks, reference 20611, which was only produced between 1975-1976, right before all three cartier boutiques in New York, London and Paris were sold and formed to a single company. This example of the „Organic“ wood collection was sold over the new york boutique and feautures the dark brown spinel cabochon crown and an engraved goldplated caseback in french language. the 24 x 30mm case covers a Cartier caliber 78-1 which is built from a 2512 ETA movement base. It runs very well, not being in the need for a service soon. All original wood parts about this watch are crackfree and in very good condition. the watch comes on a beautiful brown leatherband with golden buckle.
