This is an original artwork from 1968, created by the famous british popartist allen jones (born 1937). Please read about allen jones on wikipedia by klicking this link.  The work „chest“ was produced in the late sixties in a limited edition. our example is no 201/2000. the 37cm x 26cm x 3cm painted plastic sculpture shows a female cleavage in a typical 60s petticoat design. unlike today, the sculptures of allen jones were quite provocative and scandalous back then in the 1960s, often showing fetish and bdsm scenes, while satirizing or modifying them. This is a rare collectors item for popart lovers, made by an icon of british art history.
