We are very happy to present a beautiful project we had in mind for allready a long time. and like you would expect it from us, there is a vintage watch being the star of that project. Two original and well selected universal Geneve watchheads from the 1960s have been redesigned to elegant necklaces by our goldsmith. The 18k yellowgold reference 18209-2A watchcase (28x28mm) has been connected to a 90cm and 14,5 gramm 18k yellowgold chain, and the reference 28216-4 with steelcase and giltprinted glossydial to a silver chain in same size.
the technique the watchheads have been connected to the chains is very well reconsidered, as it will avoid the watch from twisting and tilting while you wear it. also it allows you to remove the chain and wear the watch on a leatherband just like it was once created for. we didn´t change the original function of the watches in any way, and that is maybe the most genius about this construction. you will own a chainwatch and a wristwatch in one. The UG caliber 820 of the yellowgolden piece and the caliber 620 of the steel version have been checked through by our watchmaker and are both running perfectly. This will be probably the most en vogue way to wear a vintagewatch. we hope you like it.
