The piece from around 1968 is in pristine condition with an unpolished case (with clearly readable numbers on the caseback) and a flawless dial with all original and beautifully patinated tritiumdots still appearing. The tritium in the handset is matching that colour. The subdials are cleanwhite and day- and monthwheel are printed in red. This watch also offers a moonphase and the date, adjustable over the three little pushers on the left side of the case. The caliber 281 by Universal Geneve was checked through by our watchmaker and is running exactly and strongly in all functions. Also the U-signed plexi, the “DON” bezel and the U-signed crown are the original parts that have always been on that watch. It won´t be easy to find a piece in better condition. The tricompax comes on a black leatherstrap.
