Universal Geneve Polerouter Electric
not in stock

this is a very rare Universal Geneve Polerouter Electric from 1965 in outstanding good and all original collectors condition. The reference 860100/01 only appears rarely on the market and isn´t even displayed in most famous UG or Polerouter books. It was produced in very low numbers from 1963 on and is one of the hardest to find UG polerouters today.

There are so many outstanding details about this 34mm Steelwatch, that we really enjoy to describe some of them. Let’s start with the second hand, which is displayed in the form of an electric flash. Then the word ‘Electric’ is written in large blue letters on the dial, which is a clear indication of how proud they were to be able to offer this new technology at the time. Another beautiful detail is the elaborately designed dial, which is divided into four sectors. Two of them have a circular brushing and two a linear one. The twelve indexes are accompanied by internal tritium dots. All this beauty is guarded by the famous polerouter case designed by Gerald Genta with curved horns. We shouldn´t forget to mention that this piece also still carry the U signed plexi and the original crown.

The quartz caliber UG 60 is still doing a proper job and runs exactly as it should. The case has never been polished before and shows clearly both of the numbers on it´s caseback. We will deliver this stunner together with a black vintage leatherstrap and a blue  leatherstrap that is matching the color of the letters „electric“ on the dial.
