this is a rolex 1601 datejust from 1966 with  rare glossy/gilt piepan-dial, that has developed an outstanding patina. It is appearing in a tropical brown-, or a greyish warmtone, depending on the angle the sun shines on it. The fat case has still clearly readable numbers (144xxxx) and carries the original whitegold bezel. the periodcorrect rolex jubilee-bracelet with frogfoot-crown is engraved with 14. the 1560 rolex automatic movement has been freshly serviced by our watchmaker and is in perfectly working order, at least for the next decade. a rolex dj 1601 you will not find a second time with this exact dial effect.
