At rarebirds we have always been big fans of the 16520 „Zenith-Daytona“, long before the current daytonahype and the extrem high demand of those last century daytonas by collectors. So we are always happy to offer a beautiful piece from time to time, although it would normally be „too young“ for our vintageportfolio. This excellent U-series from 1997 appears to have never been polished showing some signs of wearing from the past 21 years. The subdials of this flawless dial have faded to a very charming light brown tone which is called the „patrizzi-effect“ amongst collectors. The watch comes on it´s original Oysterbracelet and was checked through by our watchmaker and even tested waterresitant up to 10 bar. And as you are used to from rarebirds, it is for sure all authentic in every single part.
