this is a very rare Türler doublesigned IWC polo club sl (ref. 1831), which appears on the market probably twice a decade. It´s said that less than 200 pieces of the Polo Club SL with black dial have been produced back then in in the mid 1970s. Maybe one or two handful examples of them could have been Türler signed. The name of Gerald Genta is often mentioned as a designer of this piece and if you compare it´s shape and edges to his worldfamous creations, you can easily see why. The 38mm steelcase with integrated bracelet has never been polished and the he beautiful inhouse automatic caliber 8541b, which was also used for the Jumbo Ingenieurs, is in perfect working order, not being in the need for a service during the next years. The unmolested dial features it´s original tritium and shows some little usual patina in the black part which can only be realized in certain angles.
