this is an extremely rare IWC sportchic watch from the 1980s in 18k whitegold. The style of the watch appears in the typical iwc „da vinci line“ shape, which was used in several different proportions, sizes and little design differences back then. Gold examples of the Da Vinci Line are very rare, even more whitegolden ones. Our execution, with a 35,5cm case (without crown) is the only one we could find over the internet, so there might not have been produced more than a handful like this. The watch has a total weight of over 140 gramms and over 131 gramms without movement and dial. It is powered by a beautiful handwound IWC caliber 403, which was just serviced and runs perfectly. You will find all the engravings of serialnumbers and gold hallmarks on the bracelet and in the case. the original crown is signed with the IWC fish. The bracelet is in supertight condition with no stretch and even in full length. It will currently fit wrists up to 19,5 cm circumference and can be adjusted one step shorter over the clasp. The links could also be taken out by a goldsmith. The beautiful original dial and handset are flawless. This IWC might be one of the most exclusive sportchic watches from the 1980s with integrated bracelet that you could wear or collect. It´s a valuable piece of of 18 karat white gold and a stylish companion for everyday life that you will never see on anyone else again like this. It comes in a leather IWC travelbox.
