this is a spectacular Girard Perregaux from 1967, the so called „Playboy Moon“ or „Dot dial“. This avantgardistic 34,3mm watch features a dial on which every single dot, or moonphase if you want so, has been painted by hand, so little imperfections are even a special charakteristic of this reference and make each watch a unique one. Our example is the super-rare goldplated execution with lemon-dial and steel caseback, the reference 9034GK. The case shows a lot of patina and the typical rainbow-color-effects of aging gold. The GP is powered by the handwound GP 12.3, which was freshly serviced by our watchmaker last week and will runs perfectly for the upcoming years. All parts about it are the original ones. It comes on a nos black vintage leatherband with matching patinated buckle. The GP „Playboy moon“ might be one of the coolest and most recognizable vintage watches you can buy for money, if you ever find one for sale. It might be almost 60 years old allready but it can´t be more stylish in 2025. That´s what makes an icon.
