this is a very rare 9075 af olimpico by girard perregaux from the late 1960s. the brand used to release chronographs for all the olympic games in the past, and this reference has reached wider fame amongst collectors regarding it´s outstanding detailed 1960s design. Stylewise it can be seen in a line with Zenith A386 or the mid 1960s Universal Geneve Compax line, like the Nina Rindt execution and even more the rarer exotic dial versions. It is in any case one of the most iconic designed sport chronographs of the golden era. The 39mm steelcase has never been polished and shows all numbers between the lugs and engraved in the caseback. the gorgeous, girard perregaux refined and engraved, excelsior park caliber 40 was checked through, works perfectly in all functions and will not be in the need for a service soon. the fume-color-dial, the handset and of course the beautiful crackfree bakelit bezel are unmolested and appear with the original tritium in and on it. the GP olimpico will be delivered with two new leatherstraps in different brown tones which match the watch both perfectly, each in it´s own wonderful way.
