This is a a rare Vintage Royal Oak 5402sa from 1979 in beautiful condition, having been fully serviced at Audemars Piguet in 10/2016 for over 2.700€, and is now ready to be enjoyed by it´s new owner for a long time. The 5402sa, in it´s original Gerald Genta designed 39mm execution, is an absolute awesome watch combining 18k yellowgold and stainless steel. With it´s greyish dial, this timepiece effortlessly manages the combination of the two materials to a perfect match. The twotone Royal Oaks are maybe the most beautiful twotone watches ever been produced. With a productionnumber of under 1000 pieces, the 5402sa is even much rarer than the steel-only version. Our example comes with a beautiful fat case, an original and unmolested tritium dial and tritium handset as well. The legendary AP 2121 automatic movement has been fully serviced in 2016 and won´t cause any issues during the next years. This is an important fact, as vintage Royal Oaks that haven´t had an AP service, will mostly cause „melted“ gasket and movement problems. The original parts can only be delivered by AP themselfes.
