This is a very hard to find steel Vintage Royal Oak from 1981, with box and extract of the archives, coming straight from the first owner who bought it 38 years ago. We are very happy to say that this example has never been polished before. The reference 4100 with it´s 35mm case has all the characteristics from the iconic 5402, which we currently see skyrocking valuewise. Our extrathin 4100 comes with the vintage Audemars Piguet font on the „swiss“ signed tritium long-index-dial with beautifully colormatching original tritiumhands. The dial itself can be rated with 100% flawless condition. The caliber 2123 is running exactly and is not in the need for a service. If you search the internet you will see that it is almost impossible today, to find a steel royal oak in this totally unmolested original condition. The big mass has been overpolished or refurbished in any way. The Royal Oak is an important icon of watchhistory, and this one is still in the original shape, designed by the maestro Gerald Genta.
