This is a rare and beautiful Audemars Piguet dresswatch from the 1960s in white gold. The 25 x 25mm case is still unpolished and shows both, the serial number and the hallmarks in full. The original dial has lost the first layer of clear lacquer in some places over the years, so that the letters ‘I’ and ‘G’ of Audemars Piguet are missing. This leads to the charming peculiarity that ‘Audemars Pu et’ now appears on the dial. The AP hand-wound movement has been thoroughly checked and does not currently require an overhaul.
