This is a very rare rectangular royal Oak jumbo B-series from 1982. the 18k yellowgold case is overall unpolished and in great condition (41 x 32 mm). the 18k bracelet has almost no stretch and is in top condition as well. it´s flawless tapisserie dial is decorated with 11 index brilliants, made inhouse by audemars piguet. the highend ap quartz caliber 2511 is running absolute exactly, just as you would expect it. this royal oak is full original in all parts and comes with an extract of the ap archives, made in november 2019. in case you might ask.. „why adding a golden quartz-watch with brilliants to my vintage steel toolwatch collection?“ well, because exactly this configuration shows how important and valuable a quartz watch was in 1982. and then this piece is just one of the coolest, most avantgardistic pieces we have ever had for sale at rarebirds, and we simply can´t be the only ones that have deeply fallen in love with it.
