this is a rare vintage 5402st from 1977, freshly serviced by AP, with box, extract of the archives and all service papers from 2019. the historical importance of gerald genta´s iconic 39mm watch and the impact to the watchmarket, of this once „most expensive steelwatch of the world“ is widely spread knowledge under watchcollectors . This c-series royal oak jumbo with ap-logo at six has only been produced in a range of 1000 examples. Our piece still remains unpolished according to an AP watchmaker. All numbers are matching. The bracelet has almost no stretch and all parts about it, like the „swiss“ dial with beautiful tritiumlume, unsigned crown or the AP signed clasp are the original ones. Also the handset is the original one but had to receive new lume by AP at the service this year. The watch has also received new gaskets and a full movementservice of the AP 2121 caliber, and is not even only running perfectly but also waterresistant again.
